No, a poster on there has stated multiple times they are best friends. Pastner got this dude a sideline or bench pass for the regional games in Tulsa.

Yes, it's true.

According to this poster, OU called him right after Capel was fired and Pastner wasn't interested. The poster alluded to some things done wrong by OU with that contact. Then after Buzz turned us down, we called him again and negotiations were on until today when Pastner signed the extension at Memphis.

We called him twice and from what I understand, whoever was dealing with him made a lot of mistakes according to the Pastner side.

maybe joe c wasnt the one on the phone at that point in time. Only a few people know what was said and what paster didnt like. None of them are on this board
