lol probably not a coincidence with Chavez in attendance. Interesting to see Porters reaction if they write a check.

Harold Hamm, Continental billionaire.I know I should know who that is. But I don’t off the top of my head. Who is that?

That’s what I thought. But I honestly expected Harold to have aged more in the 10 years I’ve been gone.Harold Hamm, Continental billionaire.
Now if McCollum or whoever can get him to games, sign me up haha.![]()

Net worth? 18 billion lol
The man who wrote a $975M dollar check to tell his ex-wife to go away.I know I should know who that is. But I don’t off the top of my head. Who is that?
Wonder how many times Porters shook his hand or kissed his ass, probably not once. Now if McCollum or whoever can get him to games, sign me up haha.
LMAO!Eddie is a basketball guy. And he knows more about basketball than most on this board. Just FYI.
It’s not a high barLMAO!
They have some sources into the program IMO especially Eddie (with FB) but yes, the actual substance is pretty poor haha.
Eddie is a basketball junkie.Josh with football is the only person that can actually talk X's and O's in any sport.
They do have some sources, but I don't for a second believe that Eddy has the inside scoop that Porter is actually going to Villanova. He does some great satire videos, though.

If that’s what Joe is doing it’s even more evident he needs to go now.100%.
I am not that connected but it seems like Castiglione is leaving the individual sports to cultivate their own NIL platforms (assuming they don’t do anything too aggressively).
Glad for WBB (looks to be trending) & softball (for sure) that they’re excelling but disappointing especially for Porter who is at least saying the right things to not be more aggressive about cultivating it directly.
Ha, like I said that is mostly speculation on my end so don’t want to break out pitchforks. If that’s what Joe is doing it’s even more evident he needs to go now.
Player development under Moser has been pretty good.
Jalon Moore was a castoff from Georgia Tech and became a very solid player here. Same goes for Soares, Wague, etc.
There are better coaches, but your absolutist stance against Moser sometimes belies reality.

He did not go to OU but has donated a lot to the university, namely the medical center. Having a fully bought in donor like Hamm would be incredibly helpful. Still so much more the current AD could be doing with medium sized donors. If Hamm is an OU sports fan, they should get him to donate $1B to NIL.
Tell him they'll never ask him for another dime. Give him naming rights. A suite for life. Tickets. Full access to the program. Give him some control or say in the Petroleum Engineering College. Pretty much everything short of renaming the entire University after him.
Interest/earnings on $1B at 5% would be $50M per year. Think that would fund some stuff?
$1B too big of an ask? Even $250M would return $12.5M per year in earnings.
I've never heard of Hamm being a big OU fan though. Maybe he is and I'm just not aware. He didn't go to OU and already has his own Graduate School, so he may not care enough to be involved.
That's what OU needs though. A few really big contributions that become athletic or NIL specific endowments.
Is it not possible the light just came on for Wague late in the season? It happens sometimes. And I think Sam going down may have played a role in it. How many times have we seen a backup--or even an entire team--pick up their game when a star (or even a starter, as in this instance) goes down? I've seen it countless times--and in every sport. The spotlight is on you, your team needs you, it's crunch time (in this instance) and you up your game. It's not at all uncommon. Also agree about Wague. Great to see him come along but disappointing about his usage earlier in the season, definitely on PM.
