Lattin has clearly moved ahead of everyone else in putting his mark on the fifth starter spot. What I like the most is that he and Manyang appear to be well on their way to giving us the production we all wanted from the center position.

Khadeem and AK combined for 14 points, 5 rebounds and 8 blocks in today's game, not to mention the shots they changed and their solid play on defense. More importantly, perhaps, is that they continue to get better with every outing.

Good stat, Ada. I'm going to steal it and tweet it. :D

The improved inside play will take a lot of pressure off Spangler this year. The stronger play in the paint added with the depth of the bench has convinced me this team has what it takes to win it all this year.

Yes, I agree with you. Those 2 have moved ahead of McNeace. I think today was the best I've seen Lattin play. It really hurt us when Khadeem picked up that 4th foul. He did a good job playing under control when he came back in. Did Manyang even play in the 2nd half?

It also seems that Buford is Spangler's backup. He did a good job today. 10 minutes. Very active. Speaking of Spangler, we were getting beaten on the boards for much of the game. Ryan finally became his blue-collar self to end up with 15 boards leading OU to a 45-41 edge.

Those two are playing well and McNease is capable of giving solid minutes in the event of foul trouble. OU is about as deep as I can recall at the center position.
