Criswell is an OKC Douglass graduate and after spending his first two years at UAB, he is looking for a new home.

He is currently attending junior college at Independence community college in Kansas and OU is among his top 4. The 6 foot 9 post is expected to visit this weekend and Will Jennings caught up with him to see where OU stands before the visit.

Also an update on a few other prospects that are expected to visit this weekend.

Update

Sam/William, did Tony have high-major offers coming out of high school, or was UAB the best program available? I remember the name, just don't know much about his recruitment back then. I ask, because he is reportedly being offered by the likes of Nebraska, West Virginia, Florida, Alabama, Missouri, Arkansas, Texas Tech and Auburn. Rivals shows that OU has also offered.

What did he accomplish in two seasons (counting his redshirt year) at UAB to create so much interest lately? Is it based on size and potential alone, or am I missing something here?

Nice interview and report, by the way! :clap

If you look at the 2012 class their are not a lot of better options than Criswell who is a skilled 6'9 player that a lot of experts think has pro potential. Coach Kruger really likes innerchangeable players and he would fit in that description along with A'math and Osby.

He played his senior year at Douglas. He played his junior year at Westmoore. And before that he played in Texas. He goes to UAB and then transfers to a jc. The kid has a history of transferring schools.

What makes you say that??
