Questionable Offense?

I love the guy but not in this situation, why is Ryan Spangler taking a 3 with a 1 point lead in the final minute? Great player but the last person we want shooting that shot. I just thought the offense could had more urgency and not as many 1 on 1 isolations

As I said in the game thread, I'm not sure why Ryan is on the iso side there.

I doubt if Ryan was supposed to take that three.

Even so, it was one of many ill-advised shots OU took in tonight's game. Our guards and wings passed up numerous wide open threes to drive with the ball and take lesser, highly-contested shots that had little chance of going in. That only made La Tech's job of guarding the perimeter easier and allow them to pack it in on the inside.

The loss doesn't worry me nearly as much as the fact that we're entering conference play following two of our worst outings of the season.

I agree, there were alot of what I thought was ill-advised shots, and too many TO, bit I will not get on hear and say that one shot or turnover cost us a game, you have to look at the whole game. I am a very optimistic person, so maybe the team can learn from this and move forward into conference and do what I think they do, which is good.
