I was able to catch my first game today. Tougher to get away with a 4-month-old and an older sister, but both future Sooners went with Daddy today!
Anyway, I noticed after half-time that all of the team (minus three) ran out of the tunnel and broke into the layup drill. One person (a sophomore) joined the layup drill after walking on to the court, and two others (freshmen) never did. Oddly enough, they were also the three that you would see periodically not getting back on defense, walking up the court, etc.
It's much harder to see these types of things on TV, so I was curious if that is the way it has been all year? Obviously, I didn't use names, but I think it's pretty easy to figure out which McDonalds All-Americans I am talking about.
Oh, and let me end this post on a positive note. Great game by Cade Davis & Ryan Wright. Willie showed signs of taking over at some points, too. Best win of the season, by far.
