It will be interesting to see if Johnson continues to start at the point and Jones moves to the SG or if Jones starts at the point and Johnson moves over to the SG. When you add Jones, Mompremier, and Brown to Baylor's roster, it sure looks like the Bears will be better than last year.

Texas adds Higgs and Hosey, both of whom should help them.

We need a big year from Kaylon, Peyton, and Gioya to stay up. I think we know what we will get from Gabbi so I'm not worried about her. A question is, can Maddie be a double digit scorer and rebounder?

If there are no injuries in the league, I think the order of finish in the Big 12 will be Baylor, Texas, and OU.

I think the biggest battle for position will be between us and texass. They MAY have the edge on us in size and (maybe) talent but Sherri is the better coach.

For us to be competitive ViVi, KayKay, Treece, & Odimgbe have to improve (rebounding, scoring, & closing off the middle) and Gabbie, Peyton, Maddie, & Gioya need to step up and not have a disappearing act during the season at any time. Would be a big bonus if Kornet could find her rhythm for her senior year.

Kornet will be lucky to see the floor next year for five minutes a game. I love the kid, but she's done. She just never developed to her expected potential. Perhaps she was overrated. No matter what happened, she's a class act all the way.

Jones will star at the 2 for Baylor she really has only 1 and a half years of D1 ball at point under built and why move Johnson when she has been starting there the last two seasons... I don't think Brown will set the world on fire, Mompremier is big fast and can handle the ball a little in the open floor. I have never been impressed with Hosey she reminds me of Buirckdick who played at Tennessee, she has a will to win thought and she could turn in to the leader Texas needs... Higgis likes to shoot a lot, I think she be a 2 guard vs a point guard.

Mac, in what order do you think the teams will finish this year?

On talent Baylor, Texas, OU, but I think it'll go Baylor, OU, someone else... If Baylor lands Cox they might not lose a conference game in a long time...

Last year, OU was not good defensively or on the boards. We lost Sharane who was one of our best defenders and rebounders which indicates we will not likely be better this year in either category. It is going to be difficult to beat really good teams if we continue to struggle in those categories.

Another area in which we must improve is fouls per game. There are only a handful of teams that fouled more than the Sooners. We have to keep players in the game and stop sending opponents to the line for easy shots.
