I just wanted to pass along a few recruiting notes for this upcoming week.
- Jeff Capel will be going east to visit Brewster Academy point guard Naadir Tharpe on Monday. Tharpe, a 2011 prospect, is considered to be leaning towards Minnesota, but Oklahoma and Kansas are now involved in his recruitment.
- Also, as reported earlier this month, J-Mychal Reese of Bryan High School in Bryan Texas, is epected to be a guest of the Sooner basketball program this weekend for the OU vs UT football contest. Reese, along with Houston area point guard LJ Rose are considered to be the top point guard targets for the Sooners in 2012.
