Anyone going?

My friend and I are entertaining the idea of going down there Thursday night for the night session but have no idea what to expect for session tickets...

I know they usually don't pack out regionals so I expect there to be plenty if we want them...any info would be great, thanks

obviously its going to be a lot of Kansas and Kansas St fans dunno about the other 6 teams, but should be plenty of tickets available, especially the other games not involving the kansas teams

does BYU travel well for basketball?

Actually, in the past OKC had sold out. This year there's some tickets still available from the Ford Center, so I think any premium you'll pay is for location and because it's the KU session. I'll be there, but I put in my order for tickets around this time last year.

I'm going to one or both sessions. I am semi-interested because of the Kansas schools. I'm still bummed that OU missed a chance to win the Big 12 tourney last year here in OKC, and now has missed a chance to play in the NCAA tourney here.

Hopefully the next time the Big 12 tourney or NCAA tourney comes to OKC, TMG, Pledger and Fitz will be junior/seniors and can take advantage of having some of us Sooner fans there to cheer for them.

just got a call from a friend and get to go to the morning session. back when I was young and single, I would go to the nearest regional no matter who was playing. Although it is better when OU is there. The whole tournament experience is really cool for the hoops junkie.

My real question is availability and price...

i found that session passes are going for $204, but that looks like it is for both sessions...

Has anyone gone down before without tickets? and does anyone have an idea on what i might be able to get some for?

I would only go to the UNLV/N Iowa and Kansas games...

KU, KSU, BYU, Northern Iowa will travel really well.

K-State fans travel really well when their teams are good. If they play in the afternoon you may find some of their fans selling the evening session tickets after the game, but you would have to be down there real early to do that.

I wouldn't be surprised if KU fans are selling tickets to the morning session on Thursday since they probably bought both not knowing which one KU would play in. I am giving my morning session tickets to family members now that I know KU is playing in the evening session.

If the Lobos had gotten shipped to OKC, would of made the trip, going to have to settle for the DirecTV package I guess.

Don't worry, I can come up with some Panther gear, if need be.

I think the Rebs will take care of them, however.

I also know a Michigan State/KU regional semifinal would be good stuff. Michigan State always plays their best basketball in this tournament, and they have athletes to compete with KU. I don't think they are playing well enough right now to win the game, but it would be a good game to watch. And what would you know, I will be in St. Louis that weekend. Undoubtedly, Michigan State is the last 5 seed you would want to see.
