Rewatching the game and ...

Played poorly, yet were still in it late against a good team.

We’re going to be very good this year. May take until February but we’ll get there.

I don't think we played bad defense, probably better than usual. We were playing a better team that could hit even challenged shots. Some can't hit dunks.

I kept watching passes that I had no idea where they were headed or what the recipient was to do with the ball if he had caught it. I thought we made some poor decisions, especially after we tied the game. The announcers said that we would probably win by ten at that point. Well, we might have if we had made a lick of sense with our passing. It made our offense look disorganized. I don't think we had a bad defense day.. We had a badly organized offense day.

Did it seem like Arkansas hit a lot of free throws that bounced up, circled the rim, and fell right through the net? If a couple of those had simply missed, it would have changed the way we played the last few minutes. It would have helped if we had hit a couple of free throws.

At the end of the game, I thought "Trae won't do that in March."

We never could make a shot to get over the hump when we had it close. Hopefully we make some of those in games down the way.
