Romero Osby summer workout at IMG

I have a few connections at IMG sports academy and I did not know that Romero Osby went down there to work out this summer. I heard amazing things about his talent and work ethic! I heard if he has a big year the NBA is defiantly in his future.This makes me beyond excited for some sooner basketball!!!

Thanks for that update on Romero. I hope he has a big year and sneaks into the draft - he is in that tweener SF/PF mold ala Taylor Griffin but I think he is a better distance and midrange shooter than TG was at this stage. I hope he has improved his handle and his defensive lateral quickness.

I am excited that this team has 3 legit scoring options in Osby, M'Baye and Bird.

Yup. And with a deeper big man rotation it should take a bit of pressure off of him so he can just just get out there and score.

I'm a big fan of his. His impact goes way beyond numbers. I think he could be like a Johnny Gilbert that can score.

I sure wouldn't compare him to Gilbert. Gilbert was a defender and rebounder with limited scoring ability. Fitzgerald is almost the polar opposite. He is a post scorer with limited rebounding and defensive skills.
