wow, way over your head obviously.
You should really give up message boards. it's obvious you are a senile old man
this man gets it.Bounce was referring to the fact that Rondo and Westbrook somewhat both get the Gottlieb treatment in the pros because of their inability to hit the outside shot (more Rondo than Westbrook IMO). If they can learn to hit the elbow jumper on a consistent basis, they would be virtually unstoppable.
Grooms is getting the same treatment at the collegiate level. Monday night he hit a large number of those types of shots (and a few that were even deeper, but not 3 pointers). If he continues to do so, it will create more space for OU's front line.
There was no comparison between Grooms and Westbrook/Rondo when it comes to overall game, athleticism, etc.
And the analogy actually started with TU's post.
Dang! If Booger's a senile old man, what the heck does that make me? Drat you, SB, for giving me something else to worry about. :ez-laugh:
I wasn't trying to say he was as good as Rondo either. Just that he took the same offensive approach that Rondo often takes.
Any fan of the NBA and OU should have realized what you and Bounce were speaking of.
lol no it's not.Any time you put 2 players in the same sentence, you are comparing them. Whether that is intended or not, that's the way it is.
I'm not really a fan of the NBA. We don't have an NBA franchise in KC so I only get to watch the Thunder about once a month, maybe twice. When I watch Westbrook he scores quite a bit. He makes a lot of turnovers, though.

Thats why the phrase "poor mans" exist.
Grooms is a poor mans Rondo, if that is the comparison you are trying to make.
rondo's a good example.
much like westbrook, if he can really perfect that elbow shot while continuing to be aggresive with getting to the hole, he will be really good
Yes, I agree and had bounce used the phrase "poor mans" I would have known what he was talking about. He did not.
