Here are last year's scoring stats (PPG) from the ones most likely to start this year:

Peyton- 15.1
Kaylon- 12.8
Gioya-12.0
Gabbi- 8.6
Maddie- 5.5

What do you think their scoring stats will be this year?

Gabbi----12.00
Maddie---13.0

Who would you think might not have double figures?

If you go back to her pre-injury averages, in the three games that Maddie started as a freshman, she averaged 11.0. I anticipate that the others will score a bit more, but that every game is likely to have a breakout scorer. Gabbi? She may experience fewer than double digit points simply because that won't be her primary thrust. But, she is capable.

Incidentally, when Maddie started those three games in Hawaii, the lineup was:

Griffin
Hand
Manning
Ellenberg
Hook

Reserves:
McFarland
Campbell
Hartman
Durrett.

If we can get double digits out of all of our starters, we will be hard to beat...

I don't think that's likely to happen. First, Sherri has bragged about her bench depth. If they are that good one would think she will play them.

When we get to conference play, I don't look for Maddie or Gabbi to average double figures. If they do, I don't think T'ona or EJ will see much playing time.

Last year only 4 teams in the country averaged more than 80 points per game. OU was #26 at 74.7 PPG. It would be a significant improvement for us to jump into the 80s.

As my mom always said "Can't never did anything". I admit I'm a confident little rascal. :)
