Guys, the season hasn't even started yet and I believe we have our quote of the year........

I may be going out on a limb here, but I believe that Baylor Basketball Head Coach Scott Drew is the next Mike Krzyzewski (affectionately called “Coach K” by Blue Devils and hoops fans around the globe).

And that's the first sentence of the article........

I googled the writers name - Denton Ramsey - and the below link shows up first. The writer published a baylor football article two weeks ago. There is a six page thread on Baylorfans.com, where BU fans take this guy to the woodshed.

I don't know the guy- sounds like a student which means I'm old enough to be his father. I certainly admire anyone who has enthusiasm for Baylor basketball, but the guy has some inaccuracies in his writing. Like he said, AJ Walton would push Tweety Carter to the bench by midseason. I have never compared Drew to Coach K. K is an old school, military type that will get in your face and give you a chewing. Drew is more like John Wooden in his motivational style. My comparisons for Drew are always to John Wooden for the record.

I'm glad you added the smiley face, DFW. I think we both know that Drew has a long way to go before he can be compared to Wooden.

No offense, but I would say Quinn Snyder is a better comparison. Great recruiter, can't coach a lick.

Scott Drew is probably the worst coach in the conference. Watching his teams play is like watching a mismanaged trainwreck. Awful.
