Season Predictions?

Apologies if this has already been discussed/posted...I've been away from the board for awhile, but didn't see a thread on the 1st couple of pages.

With the lone exhibition game under our belt...how does everyone see the season playing out?

Non-Conference Record (assuming 14 games)
Conference Record
B12 Tourney performance
Post Season performance

Here's how I see it...

12-2 Non-Conference
10-6 Conference (B12 is powerful this year)
2-1 B12 Conf Tourney (getting to the finals in an upset)
24-9 and a #4 seed based on superior strength of B12
Sweet-16 appearance finishing at 26-10

Further, here's how I see the B12 shaking out...

1. KU (14-2) - Final-4 Team
2. UT (13-3) - Final-8 Team
3. OU (10-6) - Sweet-16 Team
4. OSU (9-7) - NCAA 2nd Round
5. KSU (9-7) - NCAA 2nd Round
6. A&M (9-7) - NCAA 2nd Round
7. MU (9-7) - NCAA 1st Round
8. ISU (7-9) - NIT Final-4
9. BU (6-10) - NIT
10. NU (4-12) - No Postseason
11. TT (4-12) - No Postseason
12 CU (2-14) - No Postseason

I can't disagree with your analysis on OU. I think with the youth this team has if we can get some meaningful post season experience it will go a long way next year. I think sports 3-9 in the Big 12 are up for grabs. I like our talent and I love our coach so I agree with the 3rd place finish. Really have to take care of the home turf this year.

Not to go into details, but I was thinking 24-10 and 5 seed in the tourney. Round of 32, maybe 16 depending on the draw. Just too young in the paint to make a major impact. This program is going the right direction though. The following year should show better results..........
