Double him 6 seconds left before half but what do I know compared to 20% Moser..Acuff was on fire. Would have been great to beat them though.

Go win the NIT. We've never done that.
I doubt a slighter better nonconference gets us in honestlyJust amazing. Screw Porter Moser. The man is just astonishingly stupid. Replace two 300 teams with Q3 games and we are in. Foul at Mizzou and we are in. Don’t go a month without a win and we are in. He can’t do any of those things.
Agreed. It would have helped but I think we needed another Q1 win or two to switch places with SMUI doubt a slighter better nonconference gets us in honestly
I agree with this. If our competition is Miami (OH) then no amount of better scheduling gets us in if it’s at the margins.I doubt a slighter better nonconference gets us in honestly
I don't know man. Our numbers might look a lot different if you replace a few of those games against the bottom 25 teams in D1 with teams closer to 150-200. Seems small, but I think it moves the numbers quite a bit.I doubt a slighter better nonconference gets us in honestly
And they will lose too I'm sureMiami (OH) won 8 games by three points or less, including 2 in overtime. If they lose just one of those, they're 30-2 and probably getting ready for the NIT.
The committee wasn't going to leave a team out that was 31-0 in the regular season, no matter how many tomato cans they played. But the committee sent them to nearby Dayton for the First Four. SMU will be the best team they've played all year.
The Crown is a better option. No home games, the players can win money and it was a springboard for Nebraska last season. Why would we play the NIT when that’s going to cost us a lot of money. If we can’t fire moser then we can’t afford to play in a BS meaningless tournament.
I think the Crown is aligned with the Big Ten, Big East, and Big 12.The Crown is a better option. No home games, the players can win money and it was a springboard for Nebraska last season.
That sucks. NIT seems like a bad option.I think the Crown is aligned with the Big Ten, Big East, and Big 12.
From USA Today: “The 2026 edition will remain in Las Vegas, but with a smaller field of just eight teams. It will have the top two teams from the Big Ten, Big 12 and Big East that didn't receive an NCAA Tournament bid, as well as two wild card selections determined by its committee.”
Even more of a reason to avoid the NIT. It's going to be a poo poo platter of opponents.I think the Crown is aligned with the Big Ten, Big East, and Big 12.
