Makes you wonder if he would throw a game to help his alma mater.

Why the hate Vinnie? :(

Oh Byron, I knew you would show up. No Hate, just funny when you have about 6 guys who are gonna play in the Pro's and the rest on the bench were 4 and 5 stars playing a team with really ONLY 5 guys and you can't run rule them.

25 turnovers and MOST and I mean MOST were totally unforced. That is lack of concentration/focus/coaching. KU was so uninterested in this game and could have cared less. They knew they had already won the Big-12 and were ready to get on the plane, lol.

Will be interesting when a Big KSU team comes in Monday night that NEEDS a win and there will probably be about 5,000 fans in the seats. If they are smart they will take it inside all night long.

I believe, even if OSU splits their last 2 and ends up 8-10 they won't get in and don't deserve to get in. Even if it was OU, no one with a losing record in conference deserves a tourney bid, IMO.

Keep in mind that they knew they already won the Big 12 outright.. win or lose, they had the #1 seed in the conference tournament. They werent playing for anything, and OSU was playing for everything. Big difference in motivation.

KU did not play well but OSU did not play that well either. The one thing that OSU did do well was contain KU's bigs. They chewed us up in Lawrence not so much last night. Our guards provided enough ball pressure that KU had a hard time getting the ball to the interior. I think you will see more of the same vs KSU.

I thought they were flat against us too. Friends at the game told me that KU was out there dunking and fooling around before the game. Self had to use almost all his time outs early on just to try to get them focused. I know the coach is responsible but at this level at this point in the season the players should be ready to play.

And, although this team has talent, they just don't play well together and there's not the flow and continuity that a good Self team usually has. I've said it before that IMO Wiggins is, at least at this point, overrated. Right now I see Embiid making the better pro. Wiggins is 6'8"ish and can jump and run but he reminds me of a player that has gotten by on that. Tharpe should be leading this team and he's not. And we talk about our team being young but besides Tharpe and Black most of the guys that play are young.

It's not too hard to see this team with 10-12 losses at this point. Not your usual Self team.

Players can throw a game. It would be almost impossible for a coach to throw a game. He'd have to have at least a few players on board. Plus having a 10 point lead with about 10 minutes to play isn't exactly a blue print to throwing a game.

LOL at this post

Maybe in the grand scheme of things....Self wants Ford to win just enough so that OSU can't get rid of him. ;)

In that sense, Self did an awesome job and I fully support his decision. For whatever reason, OSU is still able to pull in great recruits. I'm just very thankful that Ford can't coach.

I could totally see Self throwing a number 1 seed away in the NCAA tournament just so Ford could keep his job. SMH

KUs guard play is not consistent, that is the root of their problems (and possibly a lingering Embiid injury going forward).

I'm going to assume everyone is just being sarcastic about Self tanking it against his alma mater. I'd like to think our fan base has some intelligence when it comes to college basketball. KU played an uninspired game after clinching at least a share of their 10th straight conference title...nothing more, nothing less. It happens...to every coach on the planet. It happened to Coach Kruger in a recent home game against Texas Tech. I doubt he felt sorry for the Red Raiders coming into the game.
