Seniors returning

I think you're being charitable. There is absolutely zero chance Kur Kuath plays in the NBA. You've identified one of his big problems (age). Also recall that OU got him a medical hardship last year, and I think the issue was his back. "Old" (in NBA rookie terms) with potential back problems doesn't bode well for his chances at the NBA.

I'm also seeing people taking it as a given that Kur has "NBA size and athleticism." I'm not entirely sure that's true. Sure. He's tall and lanky and has some bounce. I don't claim to be an expert on the subject, but when I watch him run the floor, he doesn't stick out to me as having super unique athleticism.

As is always the case when these "X OU player has a chance at the NBA" discussions pop up, I'd love to be proven wrong.

the chance is very small ... but it is clearly not 0

Hahaha. My bad. 0.00000000000000001%. I'm not sure if that's actually enough zeros, but for purposes of this discussion, it will have to do.

Again, I don't want to come off as down on the guy. He's been playing really well in the last 5 or 6 games. I'm rooting for him and hope to be proven wrong. But in this case, I feel pretty confident in saying that Kur Kuath will never play a single second in the NBA.

Hate to have to tell you…

We don't have a single guy that would get second round consideration this year. Maybe Harmon could get second round consideration like Frank Mason/Devonte Graham if his career progresses like theirs (which is asking a lot). Unless Kuath comes back next year shooting 40% from three, I can't see him in the NBA.
