Hey.....let's get back to Shake's recruitment. Let this NBA pillow fight move over to the NBA board please.....

If Blake will never come back to oklahoma b/c of the fans of the thunder than good riddance and if his parents move b/c of the fans good riddance. I HIGHLY doubt this is the case. I would say it is b/c he likes the lifestyle of LA and his parents want to watch him play without travelling half way accross teh US.

He can not like thunder fans. That is fine. But they are no different than any other teams' fans in regards to opponents. If his ego is so big that his panties get in a wad b/c thunder fans don't cheer for him or boo him then again, good riddance. The state doesn't need somebody with that ego or arrogance.

I don't think that is the case though. I think blake is smart enough to know how much the state cares for him (atleast the sooner fans) and that off the court they still love him. But when they are playing the thunder, he isn't going to get special treatment from the fans.

I'm OK with discussing Blake on this board, but I'm currently more interested in reading about Shake's recruitment in this thread, and somehow it's been hijacked into a Blake/Thunder discussion.

It's frustrating when you hope for an on-topic comment about Shake Milton and which college he picks, and instead you read about how much Blake and Serge dislike each other.

If we have a thread titled "Blake vs Thunder" I might choose not to open it. Every time I open this thread I feel like Charlie Brown in Snoopy trying to kick the football and Lucy keeps pulling it away. I fall for it every time.

Do you know Blake and his family? I sure hope they don't think people don't appreciate him. My favorite NBA team is the Thunder but Blake Griffin is one of my favorite players. I suspect many people feel that way.

Personally I don't see what there is not to like about Blake Griffin or his family. I cannot think of a single off the court incident that reflects badly on any of them. I really don't see much on the court that reflects badly on Blake Griffin either. He is just playing hard and to win. It seems to me that is his job. Has he ever lost it and punch someone, tripped someone or done any of the number of things that I have seen done to him (and many other NBA players)?

If OU is lucky and family connections keep him in OK. No 4/5 star recruit in there right mind would want to go to OU. They are the 2nd fiddle in a football dominated school with an NBA team down the road. Having been in OK a short while, we do follow OU bball, watched most games on TV and went to the TU, WVU, and KU games and the attendance was lousy, the student section just dreadful, overall atmosphere a C- at best. Sad considering they were a fun team to watch not to mention their national ranking.

The players and coaches deserve better support! Hopefully this next year will draw in more fans, but I doubt it.

If I'm Shake, I would go to IU just for the thrill of playing in a sold out arena filled with crazy bball fans.
