Shake down to 4....

If OU is lucky and family connections keep him in OK. No 4/5 star recruit in there right mind would want to go to OU. They are the 2nd fiddle in a football dominated school with an NBA team down the road. Having been in OK a short while, we do follow OU bball, watched most games on TV and went to the TU, WVU, and KU games and the attendance was lousy, the student section just dreadful, overall atmosphere a C- at best. Sad considering they were a fun team to watch not to mention their national ranking.

The players and coaches deserve better support! Hopefully this next year will draw in more fans, but I doubt it.

If I'm Shake, I would go to IU just for the thrill of playing in a sold out arena filled with crazy bball fans.

I am glad you aren't Shake. Crean is a clown coach so I bet he doesn't go there.

There is more to college basketball than fan and student support, and OU has shown in the past it can generate at a minimum, adequate support, when the team is good.

What you DEFINITELY get if you come to OU next year is a) great coaching, and b) a winning team.

It's not like Shake would be choosing OU over Duke/UK/KU. He'd be choosing OU over a bunch of similar programs with their own problems.

Well, at least you picked an accurate screen name!

Touché!

Like I said, really enjoy the team and coaches and despite being a 30 year resident of Tucson and UofA alumni, will go and cheer on the local guys.

Just would like the team to have better support from the fans, what is wrong with that!

As for recruiting, maybe Lon will pick up the pace and land some top shelf talent!

That is not to say they can't cultivate kids and turn them into great players! Or that kids like Buddy may have been underrated by the scouting services.

OU owns Arizona.

Lon's doing just fine. Ou will be better than Arizona over the next couple seasons so eat a d.

I love your location, downtown rounding up the homeless to fill LNC, based on what we saw last year you did excellent work clearing out the funeral parlors!!

That may or may not be true.

But

OU owns Arizona and "BearDown" is what I do when I use the john...

I think my favorite win over Zona was Ryan Humphrey's tip-in at the buzzer for trip to sweet 16; or maybe the win to put us in the title game, not sure which one, both great victories.

Maybe you should tell that to Alonzo Trier, Justin Simon and Ray Smith, I'm sure they would rescind their commitments if they only knew,!,

If you want impressive stats, how about Az being the only team in tourney history to beat three number one seeds (KU, UNC and UK) on there way to a national championship! Yes only one national title, oh well.

I wonder if this guy knows JessieW?

Sorry Shake for getting off track. Come be a Sooner!

Wait till NCAA finds out about parental jobs and benefits. Go play in the street.

Ah, JessieW! A name in our past I remember well. He was also a Zona fan who made outlandish claims about his favorite team, most of which never came true.

Back on track, Shake Milton in an OU uniform just seems right to me. Make it happen, Shake!

Soonerscoop thread intimates that Shake is taking his OU visit this weekend. Anybody heard details?

OUinsider is reporting the same thing.

OU is bringing him in on what should be an impressive weekend for an official with all of the former Sooner greats on campus. The festivities surrounding the annual Alumni bash and the opportunity to rub shoulders with former OU stars as well as our current players is as good as it gets in the off season.

Ah right. Alumni weekend, I didn't connect the dots. Perfecto

Only wish I weren't on the other side of the planet for all the fun!

Yes. All visits are already lined up with dates. Im on the record, saying he committs to us this weekend.

He spoke of "everyone" committing on twitter last night... Asked is it that time already???

I'll buy the foreshadowing..

Sure hope you're right, Coach! Milton would be a nice addition to a 2015 class that already boasts a 7 footer in the form of Akolda Manyang.

You know what to do, Shake!
