Both impressed me with their all around game. I was impressed with Shepards videos after he signed, but had not seen much on Strong.

By mid season they will both be solid. Both have confidence and a good IQ

Strongs is high energy for sure. He looks to be a really good floor general.

Shepard looked better than in the exhibition but I really like Strong. Guy has some guts. Needs to tighten up his ball handling but honestly, outside of Woodard, that goes for the entire team...

Everyone needs to protect the ball better. We need a lot of emphasis here. Mcgusty had a few TOs.

They're young. I'm guessing it will be an issue off and on all season. But we're looking for improvement game by game. I'm sure they'll be much better with the ball in March than they are right now.

More than pleasantly surprised with both.

Shepherd needs a year in the weight room, but he's got an awful lot of tools for a guy who was only committed to James Madison and not getting recruited that heavily.

As for Stong-Moore. Man, it's early and against very mediocre competition, but he's good. Really good.

Agreed. I watched the replay this morning and came away very impressed with both players.

Strong seems to come in and provide a good spark or at least in a small sample size.

Woodard was responsible for 5 turnovers. 3 on dribbling and two poor passes. Got trapped with ease. Poorest game he's played in a long time.

I expected more from our backcourt than we received. still a work in progress.

He's so more effective offensively when the ball handling responsibilities aren't always shouldered by him but we obviously have no one to fill that role presently.

thats a good point. I had been impressed with Strong's demeanor, but he's done some serious backsliding lately LOL. Maybe the Shepherd kid will end up being an answer?

Strong reminds me a lot of Dinjyl Walker. That's not a knock. Walker knocked down some timely threes last year.

Jordan W. needs to tighten up his ball handling too. I think it is obvious that LK is trying to get Woodard off the ball as much as possible. It hurts us on the boards and defensively. Shepard and Strong aren't nearly as physical as Cousins was for us.

Strong is quicker and better on D than D Walker. I thought that he was a better playmaker and passer, but we will have to wait and see.

If I was playing OU I would definitely press some.
