The last steal where the inbound pass was stolen was a clear violation by KU.

Unreal.

Yep. Reaching across the line is a Class B technical foul (one free throw and the foul doesn't count as a personal).

And even if you miss that call, the KU player's foot was on the line when he jumped to tip the pass. Should at least have been another OU inbound.

It looked OK to me live but, yes, if he did reach across the plane or jumped off the line it should have been a warning and still our ball. I thought it looked OK live but I am old and don't see real well any more. :ez-laugh:

Yep....it was definitely a violation, but they aren't going to make that call in that situation.

Agreed, arenas like that are tough because there is no room for the offensive player to retreat and make a pass.

Big no call, but hey, I thought OU got some calls tonight, probably more than they ever have at Allen Fieldhouse.

I am not aware of that rule in NCAA but he definitely did not get that. I thought it was just an artificial plane all the way up and you are not supposed to step or reach across it.

I thought it was pretty obvious even in real time. He clearly made contact with Buddy which makes it all the more obvious (the violation is actually for breaking the plane of the baseline). I get that they might not want to call a t in that situation, but at least blow the whistle, warn the guy and back him off. I've definitely seen refs do that.

Oh well. Still a great game. OU wins that game with sharper free throw shooting and/or better ball security late in the game. We'll definitely get them in Norman.

Lol mason just said the ref told him to give him space but that there was nothing he could do about it after he handed him the ball so he stepped closer
