Should we talk about Buzz? How bout Lon? Maybe Rose? Stevens Buyout? A Womens Coach? Or anybody else that has absolutly no interest in the Job? He is the only person left that has shown any interest in actually listening to us

Well when everyone else tells us no are we going to go without a coach next year?

as for legit reasons, he has won everywhere he has been a HC, has AAU connections in TX from former Sooners, and he has an actual system that we will be able to tell what he is doing on offense and defense

Why don't we let this play out to see where it leads before hitting the panic button. Does anyone really believe no one is interested in a job that pays as much as OU is reportedly willing to ante up this time? I sure don't.

Doesn't mean I'll be thrilled with the choice, although I'm still hopeful that one of the coaches on my wish list will be the one. I do promise to get on board with the hire, eventually, no matter how much I kick and scream.

I wonder what everyone wants in this new coach, I mean all I'm hearing is D II coaching is not as good as D1 coaching and thats BS! What if someone told you that on your job everytime you're up for a promotion "well you went to a Junior college and Bob went to a big time school so he is more deserving than you for the promotion" thats dumb you worked just as hard to get where you are at so why should you be penalized for the school you went to, and where does loyalty set in around here when do we turn our noses up at a former player who has done everything right(no bad press a positive role model)He loves his school and he believes in what he can do for it, look why not give him a shot? He's no John Blake ! He's a proven winner! and he's one of US!

I like Terry for a many reasons, below are 2. He is my top choice of the go-cheap hires.

1) Fast paced games are more fun for most fans. I would rather see scores like 105-98 than have 8 minute scoring droughts.

2) Recruits would like to score lots of points too.


I have never seen Terry coach or seen him at all since he last played for OU, so I don't have much to go on. He is right about our idenity though, i was heartbroken when we scored 97 points in a half and missed 2 3's. It takes 2 games to get 97 points for OU sometimes now....
