I just watched Hoosiers. Somehow I feel like we are Hickory. No one expects us to win, but we are good enough to beat anyone on any given night.

Am I the only one that thinks this is the slowest week ever? I can't wait for Friday night!

I was thinking the same thing earlier today. I wonder if there has ever been a 3 seed who is an underdog against a 7 seed. I hope our boys play with a chip on their shoulders and with reckless abandon like those boys from Hoosiers...

I told Jimmy Chitwood today at practice that I was sure that Thomas was getting tired of carrying his butt through the tourney. He laughed and assured me that he would have two big games this weekend.

I agree that we have the ability to beat most teams and that certainly includes MSU. I am not betting on it but I think it is is close to a toss-up. I also agree that the week is dragging. I can't bring myself to watch NIT.

Notre Dame is getting a point against Wichita State. Both WSU and MSU were probably a little underseeded, but still it seems like the market is overreacting.

I played golf on Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday... im having a great week

My heart was racing for much of the second half against Dayton so the resting period is welcomed. On a side note, we have the second lowest over/under of the yet to be played 8 games yet the MSU coach believes it will be a fast paced game.
