pressed AT ALL with him. 10 points and 3-6 from the line and generally LOOKED like a freshman, DUH. He was about the 8th best player on the floor today WHEN he was in the game. All I've heard all year and week long from the press and the radio idiots is how Awesome he is. Well he was nothing special today. And Nash is nothing to speak of either!!!

Smart is a stud. If you couldn't tell that from watching the game, you don't know what to look for. OU defended him well, and he had the foul trouble, but you could still see the talent. I'm guessing he has a much better game against us next time around.

I was not impressed by Smart either. He cant shoot. Hes very similar to Eaton only bigger. His lack of 3pt shooting to go with Nashs poor 3pt shooting hurts them and puts a lot of pressure on Forte. If hes not hitting they can lose on any given night especially with little post up game since Jurrick has no offensive game.

Exactly. Smart is an incredibly talented player that was frustrated by OU's defense and his own foul trouble. Smart had an off game, but he has elite talent. I wish OU had reeled him in.
PS I hope he has many more games just like he had against OU and then immediately goes pro after this year.

Apparently for those who says he isn't good, you just watched him once huh? He was actually bottled up and in foul trouble all game. He played great vs. Gonzaga and can really take over games. I am very pleased we played as well as we did against him.

I've often thought this about Smartacus he's going to be legend at the school he's at, but every other fanbase in the conference is going to LOATH him.
Yesterday, 3 points and 2 rebounds on 1-6 shooting in 21 minutes. More evidence that some people on here and most of the media are WAY too high on this guy. No one should use GREAT with his name - he is an average freshman right now. He may have alot of "potential" but you gotta do it in games boys and girls
He is far from an average freshman, Vinny.
He has had a few off nights like anyone, but he is a special player.
