Yeah me too...this was one of those must wins...just sick to my stomach over it...played like dog crap and came up 4 points short...
Only way to win a conference championship now is to win out...which is highly unlikely.

I agree. Not likely. Living in ks makes it much worse but hopefully they can make a deep run.

This might be the toughest regular season loss since losing on Senior Day against Texas in 2003. We're all a bit deflated right now. We need to come out on fire and handily beat Texas Tech. Tubby Smith will have them ready to fight.
100% correct.
Our defense was mostly horrible. As bad as the officiating was, they also kept us in the game the first half.
At some point OU needs to get more then screens and rebounding out of Spangler and Lattin. Playing 2/3 versus 5 on the offensive end is starting to catch up with us.

Your point is well made, although I am not sure that OU football gets to CHOOSE players anymore.
OU gives KU a real challenge in basketball. KU has to play really well to beat OU. Sooner basketball fans are very bitter and disappointed to lose this game.
In football, OU can almost take a vacation and still beat the crap out of KU. Jayhawk football fans are philosophical and relaxed about this situation.

I agree with Vinny. This game came down to depth and defense and we have never been KU's equal in that department, even in good years such as this one.
Agree I was looking at the teams and other than Buddy, KU didn't want any of our players. But OU would have wanted all of KU's players
Most years I'd agree with this, but this season we're superior to Kansas in almost every way except depth.
Saturday's loss was absolutely harder for me to swallow than any since our loss to the jayhawks in the national title game of '88. It will take awhile for me to get over this one.
