So Slim Reaper....

Trade Westbrook to the Bucks for Brandon Knight, John Henson, and a lottery pick.
A back up PG or at best in a major battle with Reggie Jackson, an average "big" who would only see time with 2nd unit, and ? for Westbrook?

I know you like to do this sort of thing, but usually they are at least entertaining.

If they ever trade Westbrook, they will at least get a surefire starter lol.

Sefolosha's complete inability to slow down Lebron is a big problem. We had to shift KD onto Lebron last time, which got KD in foul trouble and wore him out on the offensive end.

To be honest who doesn't have that problem.

Exactly. And Thabo is a 2 trying to guard Lebron who is a 3 or basically a 4 for the Heat.

I would expect Caron to get minutes containing Lebron in a potential matchup.

I know people say this and that about the Heat but until a team can figure out exactly how to stop #6 when he wants to go I'm keeping my money on them.

Indeed. And I mean to say I WOULD expect Caron to get minutes on him.

Thabo is not a typical 2. He's 6'7" 220. That's pretty close to ideal size for defending LeBron.

And granted, Lebron is a hall of famer, probably will go down as the best player of all time. No one is going to shut him down. But Sefolosha isn't able to even slow him down, to the point that we have to put KD on Lebron. Meaning KD is getting worn down and battered on the defensive end of the court.

If you are as bad as Sefolosha is offensively, and he is one of the worst offensive guards in the league, you need to be able to matchup to be offering something exceptional on the defensive end. Sef hasn't been an elite defender in a few years.

I'm guessing that is someone on the Thunder?
Who? Caron?

Durant and Caron are much better defensive match-ups, if Durant can keep from fouling. Actually Perry Jones is a better match-up as well. Even with Caron having similar size he's more of a bull than Thabo. The 6'7 listing for Thabo also seems like a stretch. But I haven't stood close to him since he left the Bulls, maybe he grew.

Thabo has been at his best defensively when asked to guard 2's and even pg's. (Paul, Parker)

He's definitely at his best defending guys like Parker. To be a starter as a terrible offensive player, you need to offer more defensive versatility than that. You need to be able to matchup with the best player on the floor 1-3.
