So who do we play in the Big 12 tournament?

I think just having 8 teams in is a lot easier, little less convoluted. Plus it gives teams motivation near the end of the year if it's close between 10-8.

The Big 12 should have just let the top 8 into the tournament all along. The bottom four have no chance of winning 4 straight games anyway. It would be better for us this year, too. I'd much rather end the season with today's victory.

They still deserve a shot IMO.

Two years ago Baylor won three straight to play MU for the title. I don't know how often teams have won three games. I am pretty sure no one's ever won four. Still don't see a problem with giving them a shot, though.

I don't have a big problem with giving them a shot. But I don't think they DESERVE a shot. If you can't finish in the top two-thirds of your league, you don't deserve anything in my opinion. I like the idea of the tournament rewarding the teams that had at least a decent season.

We have a good chance to win 2 in a row. Baylor can be really really bad.

That's one way to do it, but it's not the only way. Some conferences have left the bottom teams out in the past. It's not like all the NCAA teams qualify for the NCAA tournament.

I'd think for money reasons, you'd want as many games as possible.
