I much, MUCH prefer Brian Brinkley. He's in charge of sports at one of the tv stations and so isnt available always. Chris Plank is terrible but getting slowly better.

There have been a few from the freshmen (and one from Kady) but less than could reasonably be expected and such as they were they havent cost us. I expect they will diminish. It's not like basketball where it isnt very good very often and doesnt seem to get better.

No question we have looked bad at times defensively but we are leading the B12 in fielding in both conference games and for the season. I am comfortable we will be leading both the conference and the season at year's end.

Tough crowd around here. OU is tied for #1 in the nation in fielding percentage with Florida. That is out of 290 teams.

It was the same way when he was on the baseball broadcast but I actually got to where I liked what he had to offer and he worked quite well with Toby. Hang in there he'll get better.

Poor guy; there's room for lots more improvement. On the other hand, he is full of enthusiasm and I'd bet he's a true Sooner fan.

It is typical for Patty's teams to be among the top defensive teams nationally if not number 1. Her teams are always strong up the middle.

My daughter is a pitcher for Connors State college so I love seeing some softball talk here. She's just a freshman, getting better every day, already throws in the mid-60s. Hopefully after one more year of development she can go D-1.
