Every schedule from the past that I have looked at had the number 1 seed playing in the first session and the number two in the second session. Also, the three and 6 seed played in the second session, so that would be OU and Alabama. As far as if they play the first or second game of the session, I could not tell but I believe they play the first. I KNOW you follow softball more closely but this makes sense to me from what I have seen. And the 1 and 2 seeds play the second game of their sessions. OF course, I could be wrong.

And in 2014, I believe the reason OU played in the second session in the second game is because they were playing the number 2 seed. EDIT: The 2013 season had the 1st and second seeds reversed as to the session they played though they each did play the second game. 2014 and 2015 were as I posted above........so will they continue with the 2014 and 2015 scheduling or are there reasons that this occurred that might not be considered for the 2016 tournament?

I look for a competitive series. I don't know if any team would find it easy to survive the loser's bracket. Thus, today's games are vital.
