there is no doubt his coaching has improved this Clips team.

That's not saying much. It would be pretty easy to improve them over the last coach.

But guess what, there are a whopping ONE game ahead of where they were last year. We will see what happens in the playoffs. I do think they are a better team this year but I think that has more to do with Blake developing.

BTW, doc, stop acting like a biatch...Doc Rivers: "What OKC did [last night] was piss me off because [Nick] Collison tried to take my son out."

Just Blake improving? Well, Doc certainly helped Blake ...

... but how can you not mention DJ's improvement and increased PT? He led the league in boards and fg% and his minutes increased substantially. Without Doc as coach DJ doesn't just not improve like that - he's probably gone.

Given their injuries I think the single game improvement over last year is substantial and the defense they have played this season is a marked improvement over last.

Golden State will be a good yardstick ... although the Bogut situation sucks for them.

On the broadcast the other night they were talking about this. Rivers told DJ that they were not going to run one single play for him all year. He told him he wanted him to focus only on defense, shot blocking, and rebounding. He wanted him to be their Bill Russell. They said Jordan came to camp ready to go. And without running plays for him he still managed to get over 40 double doubles this year.

People that are saying there's no difference since it's only one win better are wrong. This looks like an entirely different team than last year.

Exactly. They are a much stronger team than last year.
