the Clips do NOT look better to me.

Someone please explain to me how they are so much better now.

Clippers are now 6-1 vs the Thunder, Warriors, T-Wolves & Rockets. Congrats on the home win the night after they had won in Minnesota. Don't read too much into it.

LOL so don't read too much into last nights win but count the win in LA when serge was ejected?
And let me guess, the warriors win against the thunder counts even though the thunder was playing a back to back

I agree about not reading too much into one NBA game, especially the second of a back to back, my response was more in general. Why do people think the Clippers will be better? What is the reason?

Breaking down one regular season NBA game is always dumb especially with how scheduling is done in the NBA. But again, generally, why are they supposed to be better?

They could be better by Chris Paul elevating his play like he has, MVP level. But I think they are worse in other areas. They just seem like the same explosive, but inconsistent, not built for the playoffs team. Sure they are a threat in the West, but they were last year too. I mean they were 24-6 at one point last year after winning 17 straight games and won 56 games. They were very good last year and very good this year. But why are they better? I don't see them winning more than 56 or advancing any further.

People act like Doc is coming in to fix a sinking ship. This is a team that won 56 games!

I agree...... They have few decent defenders..... high scoring, pretty boy teams rarely fair well in the playoffs...

I have no idea if they will be better. They replaced Butler, Bledsoe & Billups with Redick, Dudley & Collison. On face value that should make them worse actually.

Those are 3 pretty stud players when healthy replaced with 3 journeymen. In another thread when I said they should be the top candidate to move up & challenge the Spurs I hadn't looked at those substitutes. They will go as far as Blake advances his game.

I see you talking but all I hear is Thunder losses.

I, for one, was surprised to turn it on opening night and seeing Reddick in the starting lineup. I guess I must have missed something.
