welcome ..Had been on the old bard as stoopified but had login issues could never resolve . Saw the new board and thought WTH I 'll give it a shot. Had changed my username on all boards after Bob retired . As Waddys Ghost I can honor a childhood hero I have admired since 1975 and the fateful day I first learned of a true American hero .
welcomeMy 1st post on new forum
thank you for the kind words ..@BoulderSooner , I just want to say how happy I am with the new site. The fact that I can paste cells into the chat and they format properly to wrap the columns down to fit. I can also paste images and they show properly in size, don't shrink down.
My only Wishlist is a dark mode instead of having to use extensions, but overall I am very very pleased with this platform.
Are you a lefty? I only ask, bc as a righty, it's just easier to have all the buttons normally used on the lower right. My personal opinion. I'm all for group change thoIf I were to request a change (and this is nitpicky and perhaps not even doable), I would swap the links on the right (Like, +Quote, Reply) with the Report link on the left. That seems to be the better spot for those three links, which I think most people use far more often than the Report link. The overall orientation of posts is to the left so having the frequently used functions on that side seems more natural.
But as I said, it's nitpicking, so feel free to ignore.
Right handed oppressors would see it that way. Doors, silverware, gearshifts, cars, TV buttons, knobs always turn right to go up, software UX .. among other ubiquitousness that is the right handed socialist regime. Are you a lefty? No, I'm righthanded. To me, I guess, it's more about where the eyes land at the end of a post. Are you a lefty? I only ask, bc as a righty, it's just easier to have all the buttons normally used on the lower right. My personal opinion. I'm all for group change tho
