He was the reason we won the game. We beat ISU 22-2 in points after rebounds. That was pretty much all because of 00
 
Sure glad Ryan is on our team! He was a man today.

One important item no one has mentioned. Spangler played his usual aggressive game without getting in foul trouble. He only had one foul today.

In part, that was because he was going up against guys who were more his size. But I also noticed that he played smarter and picked his spots in going after rebounds and loose balls with a vengeance.
 
He owned Hogue today. Who just happened to be the Big 12's leading rebounder coming into the game.
 
Spangs can anticipate the carroms... and has the body and hops to battle. He's a machine.

Great job Ryan. Great team effort today.
 
The ISU fans have started two threads in his honor, as they now despise him. I love that he is on our team. If he wasn't I'd probably hate him too because he is just such a great competitor and fiery guy. You love to have them on your team, but hate playing against them, especially when theyre going off.
 
His foul trouble was attributable to his effort and being out of position way too often. I would suggest he realized this and thus the better effort today.....especially at playing smarter.
 
His big game today was even more important because Cam played possibly his worst game this year.
