Spurs or the Heat

Heat in 5 or 6?

Coasting to a 3-peat.
6

Only cramps saved them from 5 or a sweep

I mean c'mon, on the game clinching play freaking Lebron James is doubled out top, throws to freaking Chris Bosh who penetrates and finds freaking Flash for the finish. Not to mention the Hall of Fame shooter in the corner in case the Spurs came off to help.

If Duncan and Parker hit their free throws, this series is 2-0 in favor of the spurs.

Or if they don't give Bosh that wide open three late in the game. He can hit that shot, don't leave him that open, when you really cannot afford to give up a 3.

If==== if and buts were candy and nuts we would all have a Merry Xmas. Give the Heat and Lebron credit they won the game fair and square.

Heat shot 53% and Spurs shot 44%. Exactly what I expected and expect to continue.

It's admirable how well Duncan is playing but Miami is just a better squad.

And in Game 1 the Spurs shot 59% and the Heat shot 47%.

Doesn't mean much.

Of course they did. I am just saying that game could have gone either way. I think it will continue to be a competitive series. I originally predicted Miami would win and I still feel that way but these are pretty evenly matched teams in my opinion.

Well, we know it won't be in five.

And I'm not sure a pair of double-digit losses, one of them at home, qualifies as coasting.

That some rushed to write off the Spurs after a two-point loss was laughable at the time, and looks all the more so now.

People also forget that the Spurs' best player, Kawhi Leonard, had not showed up to a Finals game until now.

He had one of the best two-way performances in a NBA finals game that I have ever seen.

Just boca being boca.

Boca is half right. The Heat has better players. He forgets that basketball is a team sport and the Spurs have the best team.

The Heat have the best player. I'm guessing most folks would take the Spurs' 2-7 players over the Heat's 2-7 players.

I don't know about that. I think the top 7 are probably James, Wade, Bosh, Parker, Duncan, Ginobli and Leonard. James is probably the best.

Read my post again.

And my edit wasn't to change the wording. I just corrected a misspelled word.

I didn't forget. Just didn't realize the Spurs had the extra gear they showed last night. That was impressive. Heat look desperate.
