Steve Nash to the Lakers

Battier & Miller drained 22 3s in the finals. Nothing better than grizzled ex all star vets in role positions.

There is nothing arbitrary about 35 years old. It's been proven over & over players can maintain elite performance to that age. Remember it was 5 full years ago the Celtics put together the Big 3 with people saying Garnett & Allen were too old. 5 years later in 2012 they proved to be the second best team in the league behind only the Heat.

Miller hit, what, 7 3s in the last game? He was completely irrelevant until Game 5 when he went nuts and he's looking to retire. And, you're right, Battier went on a career streak during the last 1/3 of the playoffs. Do you really think he's going to hit 58% of his 3s during that stretch next year? If I were a betting man I'd wager a lot that there's no way that happens again. Allen and Lewis are coming off career worst seasons and I don't see how you get much better at 37 when you're numbers have been dropping steadily over the last 4-5 years.

LeBron is clearly the best player in the world, but if Battier doesn't start shooting like Jimmy freakin Chitwood or the Thunder hit their average on freethrows, OKC is most likely the World Champs.

And who do you think is going to improve more- Durant (24), Westbrook (24), Ibaka (23), Harden (23) or Lebron (28), DWade (31), Allen (37) and Bosh (29)? This was also LeBron and Wade's 3rd NBA Finals but the 1st for the Thunder's core.
