Summer Questions

I think Hoopsaustin said that as a joke this time (thus the winking emoticon). But it does get old when posters question the sources of someone who tries to bring important information to the board. I can confirm that you have shared numerous tidbits of interest with me by PM over the years, some you weren’t able to post publicly. You’re a reliable source in my book, one who should be appreciated not questioned or criticized.
He also has rabbit ears and does not like to be reminded when his inside info is wrong.

I just take it with a grain of salt, and wait to read the gospel whenever ouleopard shows up.

I’ll add one more to your list. Is it too late to bring in a grad transfer (assuming a player who could help us is available of course)?

I don't think it's too late, but I assume most of the really good grad transfers are already committed. It sure wouldn't hurt to have a 1 year rental if he can help. The trouble is most of those guys want playing time.

A guard will look at his competition. Nobody is going to beat out Harmon or Reaves. Maybe Bienemy. Williams if he makes it in, he has to beat out him and Jalen Hill. The guy better be really good..... I really like our current back court players and options.

A good post player would help but he better be better than Kur and Victor to get any playing time. He won't beat out Doo or Manek.

All good points, usedtobe1. Williams will be a great addition if he makes it in. But even if he doesn’t we will still have a very good starting five and at least three solid back ups. As you correctly pointed out, it would be difficult if not impossible for a grad transfer to get much playing time.

Missing bigRick, Williams and Merritt.

All plan to be here. Williams school issue seems to be resolved if he takes care of business. Which is likely.

Ricks holdup is just travel here... which is odd to me.

Huh? I’ll gladly admit if I’m wrong. Intel changes. Especially with recruiting

Who does? No one's right all the time and given that only a few on this board have any kind of genuine insider status -- I'll take everything we can get from those few and happily forgive them when they're "wrong" (which often just means that the situation in question was fluid and circumstances changed).
