Congrats to Mr. Taylor!

North guard T.J. Taylor wanted to grab the spotlight at least once in his high school career before playing at Oklahoma next season.
He starred at Class 4A Denison, a town 70 miles north of Dallas, but didn't feel like anybody noticed.
“I'm a country boy and not a city kid,” Taylor said, “so I think everybody slept on me a little.”
Taylor, a 6-foot-3 guard, made everybody watching the THSCA All-Star Basketball Game pay attention.
He led the North All-Stars with 18 points and a crushing dunk to open the fourth quarter in a 113-95 victory over the South on Monday.
“Our team (Denison) never got out of the second round of the playoffs, so it wasn't like anybody got to see me at the state tournament,” said Taylor, who was named the North MVP. “This was the chance for people to see what I can do.”
