Take a Step Back, Frank!

Did he play in the second half?

If he is being punished for taunting it might not have been witnessed by Kruger during the game, but brought to his attention afterwards, thus it might not be relevant as to whether he participated in the 2nd half of the game.

A full game suspension against a ranked opponent in an important game, and left at home off a trip for that "taunt" doesnt' add up. That's a running after practice offense, unless it becomes a constant problem or he's already in the doghouse for other off the court stuff.

He keeps jumping backwards on his shot. It's a simple fix. He will make more when he starts jumping back into his shots again.

That theory seems a little weak to me as well.

I'm not buying the bad back story just yet. My guess is that stunt has more to do with Booker missing the Vegas trip than anything else.

Interesting conjecture. Gary, you see the team more than anyone else counting the practices.... If he isn't making the trip Saturday I assume he isn't practicing this week.

I thought it was strange that he was being left at home. Even if his back keeps him from playing, I would have thought he would have gone on the trip..... if he was in good standing. Leaving him at home for a road trip to Vegas will certainly get his attention and send a message.

I disagree, you can't be out on the court grabbing your crotch when you knock down a jumper, it is very poor taste. Frank, needs to stay home and think about some things, good move by LK.

Frank is having some back trouble. He didn't practice today. But, he isn't incapacitated. He and Buford were on the far end of the court goofing around and taking shots. The rest is conjecture on my part. He is expected to miss two games.

I know some are speculating Frank might be in trouble for his gesturing, however, it could also be possible that the coaching staff is also telling him if you can't practice every day, you can't travel and play in games. That is, maybe the coaches don't feel like he is pushing himself enough to practice and want to send him a message.

I think that is exactly what is going on with Frank, but I wouldn't rule out the possibility that he's in hot water with Kruger for what he did after he hit a shot at the buzzer.

I watched the replay earlier today, and there is no doubt he grabbed his junk. I'm betting Lon is old school enough that he didn't approve of what most people my age and younger consider an obscene gesture. Hopefully, Frank will learn from his mistake.

I have no doubt that Kruger talked to Frank about grabbing his crotch. That's not appropriate, and it's the kind of stupid thing that will get you Td up and cost the team points if a ref sees it.

The punishment punishment of a full game suspension and leaving them home on a trip does not fit the crime, while simultaneously hurting the whole time by losing a key bench player for an important game.

I agree, grabbing his crotch was not enough to warrant a suspension. That's why I said the back problem Gary confirmed earlier today and vbdad reported a couple of days ago is the likely reason Frank is not going to Vegas.

Let's hope his recovery is swift and complete. We're going to be really thin in the backcourt until he is able to play again.
