So is TD really back as in back or just back as in a promotion for the KU game?

Hopefully for good but I could see OU screwing this up by making it a once a year promotion.

I saw a guy post somewhere (FB or Twitter, not sure) that he would be very disappointed if the horses went away (he then clarified that it would be his five-year-old who would be distraught), so it's impossible to please everyone, it would seem. Of course, if they'd never replaced TD, his five-year-old wouldn't have grown so fond of the horses.

I don't know why it was ever retired. Best mascot OU's had

I loved Top Daug and think he was the best mascot we've had, but I think we're the only ones who get it. I think the rest of the college basketball world is kind of like Ben on Parks and Rec when introduced to Li'l Sebastian. They just don't get it.

However, I'd prefer he just make 1 time appearances every few years so it remains a big deal for him to come back and his legend can live on in his absence.

Who runs the OU hoops twitter? Those OU alternate jerseys with the cursive Oklahoma on the front look freaking awesome. Too bad they’re not real.

We should totally wear those for real.

Unfortunately it doesn't look good based on how cheap some tickets are on StubHub and how hard OU is still trying to sell tickets. A win or two this week could help.
