...of this season in my opinion. I feel like after finally getting this win will help their confidence tremendously the rest of the season, and when James gets his back, this team will be very tough to beat. I know it remains to be seen, but would like to hear your thoughts.

Helps having Woodard back, also of importance is another player on the team shouldering some of the scoring such as Odomes. Lattin needs to continue to play some solid ball and not get lost in the shuffle which has occurred too often this season. And James coming off the bench might be a good idea at least until he gets out of his funk.

I think we will play better moving forward and have a chance to improve our record, but I'm not sure I'm ready to call it a turning point just yet.

We play @ WVU tomorrow ... but after that game, we'll play:

Iowa State
@Texas
Florida
Oklahoma State

If we can go 3-1 in those games, I'll jump on the turning point bandwagon.

I'll jump on board if we can just hang with WVU tomorrow and have a chance to win. The Mountaineers gave Baylor their first loss, beating them handily by 21 while forcing 30 turnovers. No one needs to be reminded what the Bears did to us in Norman.

I'll be mildly disappointed if a team that finally put two halves together against TCU is not at least competitive in Morgantown. I agree the TCU game was a confidence builder. The question is, will that be enough to get us through 40 minutes of intense defensive pressure in a tough Big 12 road game?

As for the next four games on our schedule, I think a 3-1 record is doable. The toughest test may be our road game in Austin. The Whorns are beginning to show some signs of life now.

WVU always seems to have officials that allow them to foul with no consequences when they play at home. That won't work in our favor.

I hope they can stay within 10-15 points. WVU defense could turn it into a ugly game for OU if they don't play their best game to date.

It's not easy to get in and out of Morgantown. I'm sure the officials know that.

I agree that the Tech game was was a turning point, but asking us to win tomorrow at West Virginia is a tall order from a young team. Going to Morgantown is probably the worst way to follow up the Tech win.

This team can still be on the way up and still turn the ball over too many times and get beaten by the Mountaineers. I'm on board that this team has a chance to be pretty good but think the odds of us winning tomorrow night are pretty small. They're really good, experienced, and at home.

improved...yes. "turning point"...hmmm, not so fast my friend...lol.

I'll still go with 7-11 in conf. OU will win some games but we are still very up and down. TT missed a TON of open shots, not their normal deal.

WV always commits about a zillion fouls, but everyone knows ya can't "call them all"..ugh.

Tough order, but hopefully we'll keep it close.

I am not sure what turning point means but I am glad we got a win and hope we can now pull out a few close wins. I suspect the game at WVU is going to be a step backwards.
