Mike Holder and Burns Hargis and Booger Pickens (ruler of all) too. They also have ONE female coach for women’s teams (for a few years, there were none). I think they’ve hired from poke family mostly from necessity as I don’t think stoolwater is for everyone thus revolving door for football until Gundy took over. I guess it’s successful for the pokes!

Yes. Holder is one of the best golf coaches in history, and done a pretty good job as an AD. Hargis has done well as president. T. Boone Pickens is not an employee of OSU, but without his contributions it is difficult to see any athletic program where they are now.

I'm not one to concern myself with them gender or race of a coach. I'm also not in a position to know if there have been any women interested in any of the recent openings.

Back to the TT situation... If I'm remembering it correctly, as a Tech player - Candi White (now Whitaker) was involved in an insignificant, but bizarre call near the end of the 2002 OU team's Sweet 16 win over TT. As I recall, she was the Tech player who bull-rushed Stacey Dales in the final 10-15 seconds of a game we had one and bumped Dales really hard. But, the ref called it an "offensive foul" on Dales - who merely turned away to cushion the blow.

I can't for the life of me figure out how that incompetent referee wouldn't have called the foul on Tech on that play. Dales could have been injured. I wonder how the Sand Aggie fan base would have felt about it if she had been. They really hated OU and Sherri with a passion back then.
