If you have Cox Cable, there is an OU section in their "On Demand" package that now contains a bunch of classic games you can go back and watch. This past weekend, I went back and watched the OU-Loyola Marymount game in Norman.

I was 15 when that happened and hadn't seen it since then. What a mind blowing experience. The pace of play was incredible.

Obviously, Brent Price lit it up that day, but most of all I had forgotten just how good Terry Evans was. He would get the ball after a made basket, or rebound, or pass to him after a rebound, and immediately look to make a baseball pass down the court, and did so rather effectively.

It was fun to watch. Go check that out if you're on Cox cable. I wish I knew a way to rip that and put it on YouTube, so that everyone can see it. Maybe it's online somewhere and I just couldn't find it.

Is it the 172-112 game, or the one the previous year in LA? That was a much more significant game because of how good both teams were. My brother saw that one in person when he was in residency out there. It wound up 136-121, and I remember that Skeeter Henry and Bo Kimble (LMU) both went for over 40 points in that game.

The one in Norman was the one I watched. Just hadn't ever gone back and watched anything that old in a long time and was floored by the speed and pace of the game.

Went back and watched the OU-Arizona '88 Final Four game too. That was a fun watch too.
