A lot of misconsumptions about that list. Should definitely wait til the last day to declare to make the list (even though I like reading these). Just hard to read some of those laughable projected starting lineups.

They probably return all 5 starters from a team that we swept. They're too high, and we are too. I'd probably have us around 17 and Texas around 19.
 
OU will be good next year for sure, however 12? That is almost laughable to say the least. This team will face the same problems that plague them this season, to much outside shooting, no inside game, and no rim protector. If this team stays together and the incoming freshmen have nice seasons then the following year when Buddy, Cousins, Spangler, Hornbeak, Woodard, and Booker are Seniors and Juniors respectively then I could see 12. I will maintain that this team needs BIGS! We'll see, I hope I am wrong and they are a Top 10-12 Team.......

Both teams may be a tad too high but I think both teams will be better this coming year. Texas should be really good

All you've done is list what they are working on and who they are bringing in. I think you are selling them short.

I think on paper UT is a more complete team than OU next year. Doesn't mean that is how it'll play out on paper though.

I think that is a little high for OU going into next year, but whoever wrote that is simply valuing the known (returning players) over the unknown (players yet to reach campus).
 
The last time I looked we were bringing in 3 bigs. I suspect that at least one and probably two will make an impact.
 
I like to see the Big XII have KU, Texas, OU, ISU, Baylor and KSU ranked pre season. I think this year the conference had KU, ISU and OSU ranked pre season. If the conference can have another strong non-conference showing it will continue to pay off with better pre season rankings and hopefully better national recruiting.
 
How can I be selling this team short? And yes, I have stated the obvious when describing this team..............duh!!!

Like I said, I hope I am wrong. Been wrong before and will be wrong again in life. BOOMER!

You assume they will have the same problems they had this year. You're selling the players and this coaching staff short if you don't think those things will get fixed before next season.

Unless OU decides to play some defense next year we will be one and out again.
 
too high for me... should be 17-25ish same with texas... until we can prove ourselves by actually winning in the tournament we should be lower..
