The NBA Playoffs/Thunder/Blake Thread

You mean like his 4.0 turnovers/game?

Keep thinking his numbers are impressive.

oh my goodness are you dense? His numbers are impressive. 28 ppg, 10 reb, 4 assists is impressive. That isn't the freaking point. You are making my point for me.

LOL, keep saying the numbers are impressive.

i'm done with you. you obviously are just here to argue. thanks for helping make my point. HAve fun and let us know when you pass middle school and can actually comprehend posts. thanks

sorry but you are simply wrong.
Again, you are putting too much into one series

I am comparing their bodies of work. Lebron essentially beat the world champion Pistons by himself to get Cleveland (yes, Cleveland) in the NBA Finals.

This is the first time KD has been exposed. Scoring 30ppg in the playoffs isn't what matters, at some point you have to will your team through stretches of weak play. He isn't doing that, now or last year against the Grizzlies. People blamed Harden in the NBA Finals, they blamed the injury on Westbrook last year...it's now his turn.

and none of that means he isn't close to being at lebron's level.

If you don't think KD has carried the thunder through stretches of weak play you are freaking kidding yourself. I saw him lead the thunder back from down nine in the last 3 mintues to beat denver to win OKCs first playoff series. I saw him have one of his best playoff games vs the spurs two years ago to advance to the finals. I saw him carry them vs houston last year. He has been the catalyst so many times to comebacks and game winners. Why do you only remember the times the thunder lost and not the times they won when they were in a hole? Should we go and look at Lebron's failures? doesn't seem fair to me.

YOu seem to be the only one I have heard say that KD isn't close to Lebron's level.

I would leave a conversation as well if I was popping off with no evidence to support my remarks.

LOL at "pass middle school", considering I have a terminal degree.

Thunder homers are the least knowledgeable fans in the country and it's not very close.

Presti has done a very mediocre job building around Durant who fell in his lap. They should still beat Memphis who has absolutely nobody they can turn to in crunch time. But the Thunder roster is very poorly constructed for playoff success.

Of course a main problem is that OKC is not a strong enough economy to support a real NBA contender. They have to bring in Kaiser to stay afloat but we'll see if that changes anything.

Aren't you from DFW? If so how much do you laugh at somebody from OKC talking down too you? lol

just stop your trolling. everybody knows that all your posts are simply to get people worked up.

Guess we'll have to see if that narrative changes when OKC gets bounced in the first round by the same team who bounced them last year.

Hope that's not the case, personal rooting interest is with the Thunder.

you ever going to post the golf pictures you were braggin about? or just continue to ignore it when somebody calls you out on your fibs?

again, i don't think one series should determine what you are insinuating. maybe we have different definitions of close. I don't think there is any question that lebron is better than durant.

I want to apologize for some of my remarks. shouldn't have stooped to some of these levels. Just a frustrating series. 4 OTs in a row...sheesh. i've aged 10 years. Also frustrating to see the lack of effort on everybody but westbrook and to see KD missing shots that are good looks that he hits 90% of the time.

This type of scenario/implosion has been two years in the making. The signs were there when they put on one of the more incredible shot-making performances versus SA in the 2012 WCF. Their scheme (or lack thereof) is not sustainable.
