There have been several posts regarding posters' thoughts on Tiny and TMG over the past week. I think it is time for another numbers prediction thread. I had one of these earlier this summer with very little participation, so hopefully this one will go over better.

Predict the following: PPG, RPG, APG, BlksPG, 3point%, FT%

Mine:

Willie Warren: Big 12 POY (just wait and see). 22 ppg, 3.2 apg, 41% 3point, 80% FT

TMG: 8 ppg, 3.8 apg, 37% 3 point, 83% FT

Tony Crocker: 10.8 ppg, 38% 3 point, 77% FT, 3.2 rbg

Tiny Gallon: All Big 12 Freshman 1st team 13.7 ppg, 35% 3 point, 77% FT, 5.5 rbg

Ryan Wright: 4.6 ppg, 69% FT, 6.8 rpg

Orlando Allen: 2.7 ppg, 52% FT, 4 rpg

Cade Davis: 6.4 ppg, 42% 3 point, 2 apg, 3.4 rpg

Not ready to make a prediction on Willis, Pledger, or Fitzgerald, or Hardrick

As you can see, I think we will be very good from deep, and I think our guys will really play some unselfish basketball.

That all looks about right to me.

Fitzgerald and Pledger will be tough to predict. I hope Fitz gives us something because thats not enough production inside from Gallon, Wright and Allen. If Fitz gives us about 5 ppg and about 15-20 good minutes that might do it.

Pledger and Willis are tough to predict becuase one of them will be left out. I think Pledger will be the better player, but Ray has a small advantage being at OU for a year already. I say small because he hasnt played much yet.

Changes from bigtimes are made in bold:

Willie Warren: Big 12 POY (just wait and see). 20 ppg, 3.2 apg, 38% 3point, 80% FT

TMG: 8 ppg, 3.8 apg, 37% 3 point, 83% FT

Tony Crocker: 12 ppg, 38% 3 point, 77% FT, 3.2 rbg

Tiny Gallon: All Big 12 Freshman 1st team 15 ppg, 35% 3 point, 77% FT, 5.5 rbg

Ryan Wright: 4.6 ppg, 69% FT, 6.8 rpg

Orlando Allen: 2.7 ppg, 52% FT, 4 rpg

Cade Davis: 6.4 ppg, 37% 3 point, 2 apg, 3.4 rpg

Willis: 8 ppg, 36% 3 point, 2 apg, 4 rpg
Not ready to make a prediction on Willis, Pledger, or Fitzgerald, or Hardrick

Willie Warren: Big 12 POY - 24 ppg, 3 apg, 40% 3point, 82% FT

TMG: 10 ppg, 4 apg, 39% 3 point, 85% FT

Tony Crocker: 9 ppg, 38% 3 point, 78% FT, 3 rbg

Tiny Gallon: 15 ppg, 40% 3 point, 80% FT, 5 rbg

Ryan Wright: 2 ppg, 70% FT, 7 rpg

Orlando Allen: 2 ppg, 50% FT, 4 rpg

Cade Davis: 8 ppg, 40% 3 point, 2 apg, 5 rpg

Tiny will be a first team all big 12 this year.

I hope you are right, but I don't see it with Brackins, Aldrich, and Pittman. I will tell you this though, if he is, then we are going to be even better than I think we will be!

And you all were on me for hyping a 1st team all big 10 defender who is a 4th year junior? Tiny will not be all big 12 first team.

He will also not average 15 ppg. Willie Warren and Tony Crocker will be the leading scorers for OU. And Tiny may crack double figures, but I would be very surprised if he is over 12 ppg. 40% for 3 pt is also very unrealistic unless it is less than 20 attempts for the year.

Why is first team all big 12 totally out of the picture for a top 10 to top 15 guy in his class? Im not saying he will I just wonder why you thinks it not possible. You are hyping an all big 10 defender with little to no offensive game at all quite the difference.

He would have to get in over Aldrich, Pittman, Brackins, etc....unless there is a serious injury among the group, he won't be first-team All Big 12.

Like BigTime said, if Tiny is 1st team all big 12, he will have to have a larger impact than Aldrich, Brackins, Pittman, James, Udoh and Bryan Davis. With the league being so guard rich, it is likely that only 2 of those make 1st team all big 12.

Wally Judge probably has a better shot at 1st team all big 12 because he will put up big numbers against weaker North teams. I know Blake made it as a freshman, but the league is much more talent heavy than it was two years ago.

It pains me, but I agree.
