****The Official Saturday Conference Tournament Games Thread****

If I were a Harvard fan I'm not sure there's anything on Earth to prevent me from suicide tonight. 65 years......and counting.

i feel for stony brook as well. they david carradine'd themselves out of their first trip. choked then screwed.

Great finish in the Mac championship as Akron beats Kent in OT. Fight breaking out...

As for the Jimmer watch, he's got 18 early in the second half but SDSU is blowing them out.

yeah, that was crazy. also washington and arizona are in ot on cbs with gus calling the game

oh me oh my.

awesome. even though i hate washington for taking n'diaye from us.

i don't know if the teams had any, but the best part about it was that no timeouts were called in the final minute. reminded me of osu/st. joe's.

"Cold blooded" Gus Johnson....this is the best time of year. Ready for the bracket to be announced.

Gus Johnson really gets you in the mood for March. Even if games aren't that classic.

OK, Grambling State is playing for a bid right now. They are 12-20 and according to collegerpi.com are ranked 321st out of 345 D-1 teams. Would that be the lowest to ever make the tournament?

little zeke was so tired after that shot.
great game.

what did he say?

I don't remember the exact quote. Basically he said he didn't like them. I got the idea he didn't like the way they behaved. He mentioned that none of him could guard one of his players at Indiana.

so RMK doesn't believe in the "defense be damned, outtalent everyone" style?

shocker. I agree with him on that one.

I do not like the way Bobby Knight behaves either.

I wonder what ESPN execs think about him saying that about one of his colleagues.

bitter old man. he just didn't like the way they changed the culture of basketball.

i'm not going to pretend i remember that they were a good defensive team or not, but you don't make it to back2back finals without being able to stop a few teams along the way.

Some of them got Michigan put on a probation that they have yet to recover from. Hopefully, the documentary will show the bad as well as the good. As far as I'm concerned, the bad far outweighed the good.
