I predict Tubby's Techsters WILL defeat the Aggies. The Red Raiders are playing as well as any team in the conference, and OSU…well, not so much, with or without Smart.

This season is turning out to be a long and painful one for those poor aggies.

I'm sure the Techster's will be trying to prove that their earlier victory over the Pokes wasn't a flop! I mean a FLUKE, I mean a FLUKE!!!

But I will say that the losing doesn't really bother me now, because I do think that each loss makes it more likely that Ford will be gone after this year.

I know how that feels. I was there myself three years ago.

Can you imagine what GIA would look like next if we're, say, 14-16 and in 9th place in the league again? Those Wednesday night games will be lucky to draw 6,000 people.

If it gets that bad, we may have to call the game in Stillwater "Pablum" instead of Bedlam.

Do I want him gone? Yes.

I view as a pretty rational fan so I would say he must be in big trouble. Not that you or any fan has any say but when large numbers of fans feel that way the University almost has to react.

Jeff makes a really good point regarding Ford. I would rather OSU win just enough so that they wouldn't have to fire him. This year that probably means the Pokes need to go on a late run and squeeze into the tournament as one of the last bubble teams. I think OSU winning just enough and keeping Ford is good for OU...over the next several years.

But some fans are so blinded by their hatred that they can see the forest for the trees....and that's ok I guess. But I will caution everyone with that attitude that if OSU continues to crumble and fire Ford.....then there's a chance they go out and make a great hire.....that being a coach that can manage/coach talent.

I'm just saying if you're comparing both schools right now, then I would want things to stay the same because it favors OU overwhelmingly.

I think Tech may have to go 4-1 in their final games and win at least one in the tourney to get an NIT bid. That would put them at 18-14. They might do it with a 3-2 record in the last five games and a tourney win, but I think that's iffy.

The committee will likely consider their late run that includes wins over OSU and OU, as well as a one point loss to Kansas. It also doesn't hurt to have a well known coach like Tubby on your bench.

Hoping they lose them all. Who cares if they fire him/hire a better coach. OU's success isn't dictated by OSU's. We were fairly successful before Ford and I'd bet we will continue to be after him...no matter who they hire.
