OK. Now, we may be running into the opposite problem. We are getting a lot of commitments, and we are still talking to two or three more prospects. Right now, we have only ten players, one of whom is injured:
Vivi
Maddie
Gabby
LaNesia
Morgan--injured
Gileysa
EJ
Ana
Mandy
Shaina
But, the first four graduate, leaving six. We already have five commitments and have two upcoming visits:
Commits:
Jessica Murcer
Taylor Robertson
Tatum Veitenheimer
Madison Williams
Nydia Lampkin
Visits:
10/6 Rokia Doumbia
11/3 Yo'Myris Morris
If we took all of them, that would be thirteen, and we would only graduate one. Do we want to limit scholarships that much?
I thought it was interesting that there were several 6-4/6-5 players in Oklahoma or North Texas that appeared to have at least a passing interest in OU. But, they were taking visits to TCU, Colorado, Arkansas, Kansas, and others, and we didn't seem to have any interest.
Then, we get a commitment from Nydia Lampkin. She appears to be a step or two above the others. If we were to get a commitment from Rokia on 10/6, would we be comfortable offering Morris on 11/3? Usually, that last visit date is one that you really want. But, she is in competition with Nydia. How many do we go for this year? We only lose EJ this year. We know there are about three that we will be going hard after next year.
