I go to every game...but man..I could barely sit through this one...does anyone know how many traveling calls were made? I am very curious.

It was a nice win don't get me wrong...but yikes..what a horrid game.

ha, yes I did.

Refs really took the air out of the game.

I was thinking that this is our ugliest game of the year, but last year games like this were typical. Only we didn't win them.

I was not overly impressed by tonite's game BUT it is far from the worst I have seen. I think the officiating was awfully ticy-tack, not to mention inconsistent.

Then add to the fact that Kruger and Gillispie called a barage of timeouts at around the six minute mark.

I think timeouts were called in three out of four possessions around that time. Just brutal.

Also, I think Lewandowski's ancestors must have invented the travel. He was sure good at it. Had four of them.

It wasn't worse than most of the games from the last 2 seasons.

This. Sure the play was pretty bad on both sides, but some of the fouls called were pretty ridiculous and weak. That really uglied the game up even more, which was hard to do.

call me crazy but I thought the Mizzou game was way worse than this one.

Kelvin's 50-47 win over a bad SMU team in 2006 disagrees.

I can remember a few of those 10+ minute scoring droughts that would qualify.

I wish we could go a full thread without the "better than the last two year" stuff. We all know how it was but I'd like to look forward. The "we suck but have sucked worse" angle doesn't help. It's sort of like on OF where you can't have any kind of discussion without talk of WR dropping balls and defenders getting beat. Just me...nothing against anyone.

Not enough, TT guys were walking almost every time they touched it.

Last year we lost to Texas by 20. They scored 66 points. We've had similar games over the last 5 or 6 years.

Yes, this game was ugly but nothing like some of the games last season. The refs called a poor game and that did not help either team get any kind of rhythm. The travel call on Fitz when he spun and scored was a pathetic call in my opinion. I figured there would be a slight let down after the last win. Props to the Sooners for hanging in there and taking care of business down the stretch at home.

I just don't get this type of statement. How was this game worse than the Missouri game earlier this season. That game was over early and then just got worse and worse. It was horrible. This was a close basketball game most of the game. Yes there were too many turn overs, too many fouls and bad shooting but it was still a descent game to watch.

I can remember when we had Alvin Adams(yes, dating myself) and we couldn't get the ball up the court(sorry, Fast Eddie Fields fans). We had Wayman and couldn't knock down an outside shot to at least get one of the muggers off of him. How many good Sampson teams would go ten minutes without scoring? I think the definition of worst is subjective at best. We won the game people.

Additionally it was close and generally an exciting game. I never considered just turning off the TV because it was boring. I would much rather see a close game where OU plays poorly than a blow out loss by OU. I can't hardly stand to watch those blow outs.

I ideally, OU would just crush everyone by 30 but that would get old too.

A little side note to last nights game, under college basketball officials stats; John Higgins and Mike Stuart that called the game rank 17th and 19th in most fouls called this season.

Where does the Big 12 find these guys, under a rock.
